Walnut and Epoxy Coffee Table

My parents wanted something truly unique for their coffee table. I used walnut personally harvested by my father and I, with absolutely stunning grain. I mixed up the most epoxy I'd ever poured at one time, using deep-pour epoxy to make sure it cured slowly. I divided the epoxy into purple, pearl, and two shades each of blue and green, and the resulting bands and swirls of color looked incredible.

For about an hour. Unfortunately, the epoxy took about three days to cure, meaning that by the time it hardened, all that epoxy had mixed into something with a much more subtle variation than I had intended. Still, it looks incredible, and the wood and epoxy cabriole legs and beautiful shelf really bring it all together.
