Eucalyptus Coffee Table

Conventional woodworking wisdom holds that eucalyptus is too prone to checking and warping to be much use in fine woodworking. However, if you're willing to stabilize those cracks with epoxy, it turns out it can still make a fantastic coffee table! The black epoxy perfectly contrasts with the warm red of the eucalyptus, and the furniture oil finish gives it a beautiful sheen and feel.
